Roofers Mate

My client a well established Social Housing and Roofing contractor are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Roofer's Mate. As a Roofer's Mate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our skilled roofing professionals in delivering high-quality roofing services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist roofers in the installation and repair of roofs.
2. Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from the work area.
3. Provide general support to roofing crew members.
4. Clean and prepare work areas.
5. Follow safety guidelines and protocols.
6. Perform other tasks as directed by the lead roofer.

Requirements:

1. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
2. Willingness to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
3. Strong work ethic and reliability.
4. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
5. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
6. Basic knowledge of roofing materials and tools is desirable.

Working Hours:

8am - 5pm

30 minutes UNPAID lunch

42.5 hours PAID week
