Job DescriptionSenior Robotics EngineerMilton KeynesUp to 60k + car allowanceCurrently seeking an experienced and self-motivated Senior Robotics Engineer to join an established automation for a company specialising in the production of ultrasonic slicing systems and robotic applications.Experience:Minimum 3 years’ experience in robot software design and implementation within special purpose machinery / Automation.Confidently design and implement software for some or all aspects of capital machinery assemblies and sub-assemblies from the ground up for use in the food industry in line with company standards and current legislation.Performing software design calculations where required; speed calcs, motor sizing, control equipment required to facilitate the application.Determining and implementing test criteria for automation productivity, safety, and reliability.Working with high and low voltage equipment.Technical support and troubleshooting system errors for customers.Attend customer sites across the UK and internationally for machine installation & commissioning purposes, where required.Work in accordance with the project quotation and client’s requirements.Liaising with suppliers in the specification of components and their operation.Report to the project manager regarding the scope and detail required.Being proactive and using your engineering skills to best effect for the company.Maintain accurate records of all work completed and planning successful outcomes within agreed timescales and costs.Liaise with clients to promote our work and capabilities.Working with our sales team and liaising with external customers to assist with the preparation of quotations when required, including concept support and programming components for test rigs and trials.Prepare technical documentation including producing machinery manuals and the technical file.Knowledge of safety standards would be an advantage.Hold a valid driving licence and passport.
