Roadworker/ Groundworker required to with Newcastle based local council.

My client is looking for an experienced roadworker/ ground worker to work with their maintenance team. Work will be carrying out maintenance on roads and highways, ranging from tarmacing, laying concrete, kerb laying & slabbing.

Experience in Civil Engineering including shallow drainage, duct installation, installation of utilities chambers and other works of a similar nature.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Days: Monday - Friday (Weekend overtime available)

Location: Gatehead

Role: Roadwork & Groundwork repairs, tarmacing, kerb laying, slab laying

Duration: NE88DP

Requirements:

3/5 years groundworking experience
Full UK driving license
Own PPE
