RMN x 2 Night Nurse & Day Nurse - Low Secure & Medium Secure Male Unit

Location: Abertillery area, Wales

Rate: £30.15PH Week Days, £34.15PH Week Nights/Saturdays, £38.15PH Sundays/BH's

Hours:


  • Days: 7.30am till 8.00pm with 1-hour unpaid break
  • Nights: 7.30pm till 8.00am with 1-hour unpaid break

Additional Info:


  • 27 bed unit
  • Need nurses with experience in secure units, require PMVA training
  • Ability to administer depot injections
  • Must possess a valid driver's license as it is in a very rural location; donkeys on site!
  • Free parking with ample space
  • 3 meals a day provided free of charge

Job Description:

We are currently seeking two dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join our team at a Low Secure & Medium Secure Male Unit located in the beautiful Abertillery area of Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate nurses looking to make a difference in a secure care setting.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide high-quality care and support to patients within a secure unit environment.
  • Administer medications, including depot injections, in accordance with prescribed guidelines.
  • Implement care plans and contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the holistic well-being of patients.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements:


  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification with active NMC registration.
  • Experience working within secure units is essential.
  • PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) training is required.
  • Competent in administering depot injections.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to commute to a rural location.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract

Salary: £28.15-£36.15 per hour



Expected hours: 42.5 per week
