We draw from a century-old heritage of operational excellence, mission focus, and successful execution underpinned by a strong culture of safety and ethics.Our Project Controls team are recruiting for an experienced Risk Specialist to join their team.Purpose and Scope:As the Risk Manager you will be responsible for the implementation of risk management across the programmes and projects ensuring a culture of risk-based decision-making.You will will provide a service to a number of projects within 1 or more Programmes for the Amentum E&E (UK) business unit.Provide QSRA & QCRA services to a range of projects, using best practice tools & techniques and produce quality Risk Analysis reportsProvide/lead quality risk registers for all lifecycle phases and stagesMaintain a high level of underpinning information for all-risksSupport the commercial department in the analysis of commercial risksMaintain risk databases and validate data across systemsAssist projects to clearly define their objectives and associated risksMaintain delivery of high-quality risk products within scheduleIdentify risks using applicable risk assessment tools, and best practice tools and techniquesPeriodically review the risks and risk treatment strategies in order to update, eliminate or add risks and to meet reporting requirements.Document work in the appropriate format consistent with risk management process.Maintain accuracy of risk data communicated to project staffHighlight current or potential risk related issues to project managerMaintain compliance with approved processes, procedures, and systemsEducation/ ExperienceIdeally degree qualified in relevant subject or demonstrated equivalent experiencePreferably Professional membership of a relevant chartered body.Trained in an appropriate Project management qualificationProven experience work as a Risk specialist, working within in a project delivery environment ideally in the nuclear sector or a similar highly regulated sector.Amentum are an equal opportunities employer.Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
