This includes setting the direction for the growth of your function, partnering with clients and leading the service line team to success. You will be fully empowered to build strategic plans for your function, partnering with the rest of the senior leadership team to develop and deliver the full business growth strategy and plans to expand all service lines to penetrate into new sectors. You will be a role model in the business, living our company values, and nurturing your team to grow and develop. You will also be a strategic partner with our clients, developing and managing the relationships, going above and beyond to ensure that we are not only meeting their current needs but are also anticipating what their future needs might be, this includes identifying new business opportunities, making sure financial targets are met, and that the right team is in place to meet the needs of your clients. It is an exceptionally exciting role, in a fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to own and shape your service line as an expert in your field.Key responsibilitiesDeliver risk management services in accordance with the client’s governance framework and procedures.Facilitate risk identification workshops, completing cost impact assessments of threats, opportunities, and issues throughout the project lifecycle.Conduct quantitative cost and schedule risk assessment (QRA) to inform project contingency levels to enable effective forecasting and tracking of risk exposure.Produce risk data for inclusion in business cases and to inform budget.Undertake risk management activities including risk/ assumptions register management, action planning and monitoring.Identify and documenting appropriate mitigation treatments and assessing post mitigated positions.Produce risk reports as required to support the effective communication of the current risk profile.Establish and implement programme and project risk management plans.Review, update, and implement risk management procedures.Act as a risk management ambassador, informing comprehension, promoting the benefits of risk management.Manage others including delegating, coordinating, appraising, coaching, and developing employees.Excellent attention to detail with the ability to validate and assure reports.Influence clients, consultants, suppliers, and colleagues.Maintain and develop good relationships with clients is key, and as part of that is taking every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of Croftstone as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry.Stay close to marketing opportunities and where appropriate bring to the attention of Directors and the Business Development Department, in order that they may assist in following up potential leads enabling the development of new businessExpected skills and experienceRisk management technical professional working within a client organisation including delivery of major projects.Experience in the use of Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) for cost and schedule using @Risk and Primavera Risk Analysis.Experience in the use of web-based risk database tools; Active Risk Manager (ARM) or Xactium.Experience in the delivery of risk throughout the project lifecycle including support of investment decisions and during delivery phases.Understanding of construction contracts and the relationship between risk management and controls/management functions including project management, change control, planning & scheduling, cost & commercial management, and reporting.Previous experience in definition and delivery of risk management plans within projects.Strong communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills.Expected qualificationsDegree educated or relevant equivalent experienceMembership of a professional body (APM, IRM)APM/IRM risk certified candidates preferredWhy us?We takegreat pridein helping our people achieve their career ambitions.
