If you have Merchant onboarding, risk management experience and deep technical knowledge of schemes then get in touch!Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement robust risk management strategies and frameworks tailored to the payments industry, with a focus on merchant onboarding.- Lead and oversee the risk assessment and due diligence processes for merchant partners, ensuring compliance with payments schemes and regulatory requirements.- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure alignment on risk mitigation strategies and initiatives.- Monitor and analyze emerging risks and trends in the payments landscape, providing proactive recommendations to senior management.- Act as a subject matter expert on payments scheme requirements, guiding the organization in maintaining compliance and optimizing risk controls.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance risk management processes and capabilities.Requirements:- Extensive experience in risk management within the payments sector, with a strong understanding of payments schemes and regulations.- Proven track record in developing and implementing effective risk management strategies, particularly in the area of merchant onboarding.- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments.- Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions.- Ambitious and driven individual with a clear path to progression and growth within the organization.To take the next step in your career, please send your CV to Jim Chappell at ##### Group is acting as an employment agency for this vacancy.
