Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Risk and Controls Assurance Analyst to join us. We’re offering a
competitive base salary and strong benefits package.
This role can be offered on a full time, part time and/or compressed hours contract and the team are generally in the office 2 or 3 days a month.
What you'll be doing:
Providing proactive risk management advice to various teams working on Retail Annuities
Reviewing, challenging, and advising on operational, enterprise, conduct and financial risks
Creating audit packs used for monitoring the business and presenting these to senior managers
Working closely with 1st line operational, product and proposition teams making sure that any changes are compliant with current regulations
Attending workshops and training events to get a better understanding of current regulations and future changes
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
We are looking for a risk professional or someone with a background in risk-based change
Ideally with will have some financial services experience and understand aspects of operational, enterprise, conduct and/or financial risks
Knowledge of GDPR and/or Financial Crime would also be advantageous
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to question and provide constructive advice
