Position: Rig Supervisor

Contract Duration: 12 months

Shift Schedule: 2 supervisors work during the day / 1 supervisor works during the night

Location: Offshore

Description:

Purpose of Role:

• Supervise rig site activities related to well operations, focusing on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ), operational efficiency, and logistics.
• Manage complex assignments, providing technical expertise and innovative solutions.
• Support process improvement and resource allocation.
• Execute operational projects, analyzing risks and opportunities.
• Ensure operational plans and regulatory compliance are met.

Critical Responsibilities:

• Ensure all activities adhere to safety regulations, HSES procedures, and environmental standards.
• Oversee safe operations, maintaining personnel safety, well integrity, and environmental protection.
• Achieve top-tier operational performance, meeting schedules and budgets.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to corporate standards in all operations.

Areas of Accountability, Responsibility, and Competence:

• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop realistic time estimates and review operational programs.
• Establish and implement operational procedures, including contingency plans.
• Conduct timely risk analyses and manage change effectively.
• Develop competent drilling and service contractor relationships.
• Provide direct supervision during all well operation phases.
• Facilitate continuous improvement through feedback and technology adoption.
• Coordinate simultaneous operations and ensure equipment readiness.
• Monitor operational performance and benchmarking.
• Fulfill any other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, etc.:

• Degree in Engineering or relevant industry experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Industry experience in well operations is essential.
• Familiarity with various drilling techniques is desirable.
• Knowledge of local and global industry standards.
• Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and strategic thinking.
• Offshore-based role, requiring awareness of HSEQ policies and company values.
