We are currently partnering with a nationally recognised health and social care organisation who are looking for a Reward Manager to join their HR team. 

This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary between £60,000 - £67,000 DOE.

Our client is flexible on the Reward Manager's location in England if they can attend meetings in the Manchester HQ between once or twice a month. 

The Reward Manager reports directly into the Head of HR Operations and sits within the HR department, however they will have sole responsibility for the reward function as a whole. This is a true generalist role leading on all reward activity and projects. 

The Role:


  • Partner with the wider HR team to build the Reward Strategy for the future of the organisation 
  • Provide clear insight into industry norms for Comps & Bens across the sector, understand where the organisation sits alongside competitors and suggest areas for alignment/improvement which will drive the overall strategy 
  • Provide analysis of T&Cs within systems to understand the different elements employees are entitled to as part of their Comps & Bens package
  • Be clear on different T&Cs from various TUPE's into the organisation 
  • Review T&Cs to identify which ones are more attractive/expensive to the organisation 
  • Deliver total reward statements for employees 
  • Build strong internal relationships across stakeholder groups to understand their requirements and ensure these are met and maintained through the development of a HR Reward Matrix 
  • Review job evaluation processes and implement changes to make this more effective and streamlined across the business
  • Evaluate promotions and compensation proposals for employees and new roles to ensure they are in accordance with organisational guidance, the market and internal equity 
  • Support with the development and launch of the organisational EVP
  • Build a reporting matrix for use by HR to understand and be clear on requests and what data they hold
  • Responsible for the management of the external relationships with suppliers
  • Take the lead on projects from a reward perspective across the organisation 


Requirements: 


  • Experience of working in a similar Reward role at Partner or Management level 
  • Experience of being the key relationship builder with external agencies and partners
  • Excellent commerciality 
  • Proven knowledge of using SAP Business Objectives or equivalent analytics software 
  • Must be highly analytical, results orientated and demonstrates initiative
