Job Title: Revit Technician (Architecture Background) Location: Northampton, UK



Job Description:



As a Revit Technician with an architecture background, you will play a pivotal role in the design process, utilizing your expertise in Revit software to produce high-quality architectural drawings and models. Your attention to detail and proficiency in architectural principles will contribute to the success of our projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the design process.



Key Responsibilities:




  1. Collaborate with architects and other team members to develop design concepts and translate them into detailed Revit models.

  2. Create and maintain Revit families, templates, and standards to streamline the drafting process and maintain consistency across projects.

  3. Generate accurate 2D drawings, 3D models, and construction documents using Revit software, adhering to project timelines and specifications.

  4. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that Revit models and drawings meet internal standards and industry regulations.

  5. Assist in the coordination of architectural, structural, and MEP systems within Revit models to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration.

  6. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Revit software, providing recommendations for process improvements and workflow optimizations.

  7. Support project teams during design reviews, client meetings, and construction administration phases, offering technical expertise and solutions as needed.

  8. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to understand project requirements, address feedback, and ensure deliverables meet expectations.

  9. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, sharing knowledge and best practices with team members to foster professional growth and development.



Qualifications:




  1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.

  2. Proven experience working as a Revit Technician or similar role within an architectural firm.

  3. Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit software, with a strong understanding of BIM principles and methodologies.

  4. Solid grasp of architectural design principles, construction techniques, and building codes.

  5. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.

  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  8. Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
