The revenue manager will closely work with revenue management analysts and key stakeholders in fleet, operations and sales to boost revenue and revenue per unit across all Hertz brands including Dollar, Thrifty and Firefly through our pricing and yielding systems to maximise yield and minimize transport costs. They should also maintain good relations with senior management teams and attend the team meetings as required.
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for forecasting revenue and setting the budget including transactions, lengths, days and revenue per day by segment. Keep track of weekly revenue performance and inform the country team and senior management of future outcomes.
Utilize the pricing and yielding systems (CMS and RMS) and data visualisation software such as Tableau and Fornova regularly to ensure the recommendations are based on future conditions and operational realities of the business.
Collaborate with senior management and country team to review and act on daily updates on pricing and fleet management through meetings and fleet planning workshops.
Create the fleet mix plan on monthly basis and calculate the mix requirement for budget setting process by reviewing the actual versus desired fleet mix and address arising issues along with addition and deletion of all cars and vans group.
Contribute to promotional activity by working closely with marketing team to drive performance of Premium Fleet and selective collections and maximize the yielding.
Maintain close communication with brokers, online travel agents and tour product managers through online calls and meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing or Hospitality Management focused on business analytics, modelling or similar field.
Moderate/Expert proficiency in Microsoft tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Proficient in relational databases like SQL Server or Teradata. Hive/ Hadoop/AWS experience is a plus.
Experience and/or understanding of hypothesis testing (AB/Multivariate methodologies) a plus ideally, data mining and SQL capabilities.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
Ability to influence the revenue management analysts by developing their skills through example and training.
Flexible and adaptable to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
