Job Description
This role in summary
As a Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Specialist you are a key member of the team.
Your responsibilities will include
Bring visibility transparency and analytical rigor to promotion related (and pricing) decisions
Upgrade pricing competencies through defining and deploying consistent promotions decision processes.
Contribute to the promotion strategy and ensure value impact is achieved.
Facilitate inter-department communication (e.g. tailoring promotion plans, educating sales force etc).
Own the compilation, integration and management of large numeric and qualitative data sets encompassing sales, financial, economic, competitive and consumer information.
Prepare required datasets for each tool with respective counterparts (e.g., KAM’s) and prepares the dataset for the upload into the tools (e.g., by using Alteryx or a similar data preparation software).
Perform the required checks to ensure quality of the data (e.g., consistency checks with P&L data).
Conducts upload of data into tools (excel and tableau) and ensures data is displayed correctly in the tools.
Support the consolidation and sharing of best promo pricing practices (e.g. generation of promotional guidelines).
Assist in maintaining and disseminating monthly promotion related input for pricing scorecards including competitor activity.
Minimum requirements
Bachelors degree with a quantitative emphasis such as economics, finance mathematics, computer science, engineering
Demonstrated professional and academic success
Preferred skills and experiences
Experience in performing data analysis in a professional environment
Several years of experience in sales, financial and consumer data preferred
Ability to swiftly learn new software and databases
Technical proficiency on Excel, Tableau, Alterteryx or other analytical tools
Ability to mine complex data sets
Analytical skills to follow detailed instructions to perform complex analyses, as well as determine basic analyses required to support pricing decisions (e.g., structure the problem, collect data, identify issues and present results)
Creative in search of data and problem solving
Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work well with others including willingness to take direction
Excellent communication skills, able to facilitate cross-functional initiatives, able to translate opportunities of solutions to a wider business audience
Good command of written English
