Job DescriptionRevenue Accountant to join Dynamic Finance Team of architectural practice in London!A growing architectural studio is seeking a talented Revenue Accountant to join their esteemed London practice. This pivotal role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, from managing the end-to-end revenue function to conducting insightful analyses on revenue streams. If you're a driven individual with a passion for finance and a desire to contribute to the smooth operation of our Finance team, this opportunity is perfect for you.Some Key Responsibilities include the following:Credit Control Management: Ensure timely payment of invoices, maintaining a robust credit control function.Billing and Invoicing: Generate invoices accurately and efficiently using CMAP and Access, reconciling both systems regularly.Project Accounting: Oversee the CMAP project accounting system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Forecasting and Budgeting: Contribute to monthly/quarterly revenue forecasting and cash flow forecasts, liaising with senior stakeholders for accuracy.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Partners and Associates to reconcile forecasts and billing, contributing to month-end, year-end, and annual budgeting processes.Financial Analysis: Monitor budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights for management accounts purposes.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.The perfect candidate will have the following skills, knowledge, and expertise:Professional Services Experience: Previous experience in a professional services finance department (e.g., Architecture, Legal, Accountancy) is advantageous.Ideally an Accountancy Qualification: Part qualified ACCA/CIMA/AAT accountant or equivalent experience.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Numerical Acumen: Natural attention to detail and numerical accuracy, with the ability to work to deadlines.Time Management: Proven ability to multi-task, remain organized under pressure, and meet deadlines consistently.Analytical Mindset: Aptitude for financial analysis and the ability to derive insights from data.Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
