Job Description
Facetheory is looking for an experienced and engaged Store Manager to lead and launch our first retail experience & flagship store. Facetheory is due to open in the Quadrant Arcade in Piccadilly W1 this Spring.
Ideal candidate
You will lead and support your team to always deliver service that is informative, efficient and dedicated to the client’s needs.
Facetheory is looking for a skincare aficionado to launch our new-concept store called Facetheory Labs, where we will operate a retail space, a skincare lab and a space for influencer activations. We are looking for a social media enthusiast that is happy to work with our in-house advocacy team to drive retail-led content on our social channels. We also look for someone who is keen to drive customer loyalty events for both our active subscribers and new customers.
Lastly, we also look for someone who is keen to participate in our circular vision and help drive concepts in-store; we will work with relevant advisory bodies to bring to life our dream to have a recycling or refill centre as part of our retail concept.
You will run a business that is based on an omnichannel approach. You have a solution-led and result-oriented mindset and you will develop and implement strategies to drive footfall through the local community and experiential retail.
You will be managing and motivating your team to achieve key performance indicators and targets. Creating a teamwork environment and continuing a company culture that is authentic, optimistic and driven by results and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
STORE MANAGEMENT
Set daily and monthly sales targets with Exec team
Foster an exciting and educational in-store experience for clients
Analyse performance and take relevant actions on areas of improvement, in order to develop business growth
Sett daily, weekly and monthly expectations of store results and individual team performances and following up persistently
Organise and provide effective training and workshops with the team using tools provided by your manager and Training team
Deliver Weekly and Monthly reports for wider team
TEAM MANAGEMENT
Lead with enthusiasm and passion for Facetheory products, and skin wellness in general
Coaching, motivating, inspiring and challenging team in order to optimise performance
Ensuring all team members are fully trained on all skincare categories
Organising monthly staff meetings
Recruitment and onboarding of team members
Ensuring HR policies and procedures are met at all times
Execution of yearly appraisal
OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
Ensure store and stock room are presentable easy to navigate at all time
Responsibility for weekly stocktake and shrinkage results
Responsibility for all operational and commercial activities, including handling deliveries, till procedures, returns processing, claims processing, and omnichannel procedures
Ensure all VM guidelines are put in place and follow up regularly on standards with CMO
Professional Qualifications
Proven management background with at least 2 years of store management and team-leading experience
Strong customer relations and CRM experience.
Experience working within a skincare high-growth organisation preferred
Sales-driven, results motivated and goal-oriented
Excellent communication skills
Experience with leading, motivating and providing excellent sales training to team Excellent understanding of performance analysis to help drive the business
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Is fluent in English, additional languages preferred, given store location in a tourist-rich environment

A good communicator with people of all hierarchies

Team player yet is able to work independently
