Position:Retail Marketing Executive
Salary: GBP 27.5K-30K
Location: London
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Purpose Of Role
As Retail Marketing Executive, you will:
• Be responsible for the execution of the retail marketing plan.
• Support with the planning and execution of social media and email marketing strategies, working with agencies and media outlets to coordinate campaign activities.
• Assist in the development of marketing strategies that drive traffic and revenue to the physical and online shops.
• Coordinating the production of photography for the retail business, identifying the appropriate channels, and adapting the images accordingly.
• Working within the Retail Marketing Team and with the Marketing & Communications Team to achieve success across a variety of channels, ensuring that the retail marketing plan aligns with the wider activities.
• Understanding and embodying the company style guide and tone of voice, ensuring that it is incorporated into all marketing communications.

Key Duties
Overall
- Support the implementation of the Retail Marketing Plan.
- Work collaboratively with the Buying & Merchandising team, Retail Marketing team, and Front of House team to deliver multi-channel product launches.
- Assist with the management of all retail promotional materials (printed and digital) including but not-limited to event flyers, POP labels, onsite marketing, digital screens, and A Board content.
- Assist with the production of all retail visual assets, including photography and videography.
- Work with the Front of House team to deliver an omnichannel retail experience.
Social media
- Support with executing social media plans for the retail business by creating engaging posts for Facebook, Instagram, and other channels, that drive click-throughs to the online shop that result in conversions.
Email & Paid Advertising
- Coordinate and plan newsletter content in line with the Retail Marketing Plan.
- Help maintain relationships with media buying and digital agencies, supporting the day-to-day coordination of campaign activities, and supplying assets (copy and imagery).
eCommerce & Photography
- Plan and execute photography and videography for the retail business in collaboration with the eCommerce & Digital Content Executive, adapting images for the appropriate channels, including the eCommerce site, social media, newsletter, paid media, and print advertising campaigns.
- Support with the optimization of all digital content, working with external agencies to enhance SEO.
- Monitor the inbox for the online shop and respond to customer service queries where required.
Professional Experience, Capabilities and Qualities
Experience
• At least 1-2 years experience working in a similar retail marketing role.
• Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone to suit different channels.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, specifically, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), and Pinterest, and experience with social media scheduling and listening platforms (e.g. Sprout Social).
• Experience using email marketing platforms (e.g. Dotdigital).
• SEO skills and knowledge.
• Proven experience in coordinating photoshoots for eCommerce and marketing channels.
• Core IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Experience working across different teams.
• Practised in delivering to tight deadlines.
• An understanding of Japan and Japanese cultures is preferred

Work Environment
- On site work at London
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, with core hours from 10am to 3pm
- Some duties will be carried out in the company public spaces.
- Occasional after-hours event-related work may (evenings and weekends) may be required.
- Our aim is for a flexible approach to work locations, balancing regular on-site presence and working remotely. The mix of office-based working and remote working will be determined by business need and role requirements.
