WHY DO WE HAVE THIS ROLE?
We are a growing business, and at the heart of what we do are retail outlets. These span from Aberdeen to Portsmouth, Dublin to Amsterdam. As the retail marketing manager, you will be responsible for setting up our locations with awesome marketing throughout the year. You will be the custodian of our beloved marketing calendar, driving growth through £££ going through our tills. You will be the master of creative campaigns that drive experience, sales, and loyalty. You will be a creative copy ninja who uses insights and personas to drive relevant content. This role also connects with our food team to ensure we provide our locations with all the tools they need to activate the campaigns and ensure ROI is non-negotiable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be a competent marketer who drives sales and enhances the customer experience through well-thought-out marketing campaigns. You will adhere to our light, mid, and heavy-weight campaign structure and will take responsibility for managing the content planner. You will be a copywriting genius who writes content that drives action, with very clear calls to action. You will connect with relevant team members to ensure we have the right content. You will liaise with our Head of Food to agree on how we ensure our Obsessed Food culture connects with our campaigns.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Be a Brand Ambassador for BaxterStorey.
Work according to a quarterly activation plan for retail marketing.
Take ownership of the content plan for our light-weight and mid-weight campaigns, ensuring that our trackers are fully updated.
Engage in ideation and execution of experiential activations that complement our marketing plan.
Provide support for heavy-weight content development, connecting with wider support teams to ensure creative collaboration.
Create content for food masterclasses.
Develop content for ESG pop-ups, collaborating with wider stakeholders.
Ensure that all content and marketing activations drive engagement with our audiences and stakeholders.
We need you to challenge us. You must be aware of and knowledgeable about new marketing trends and awareness campaigns, bringing fresh ideas and opportunities in-house to enhance our retail impact.
Provide support in the creation of the annual marketing strategy.
Manage benchmarking and response campaigns.
Manage the distribution of the annual marketing calendar and marketing packs.
Ensure all of our marketing using inclusive copy and is accessible for all.
Oversee the upload of all final content to our digital asset management system
Share your marketing knowledge to empower our teams.
Connect with our location-based marketing team to ensure they fully understand the quarterly activation and respond to any questions or support requests.
Provide support to the wider creative team with ad-hoc tasks.
Attend company events, including our Obsessed Labs, Awards, and supplier visits.
Support launch campaigns for new mobilisations and ongoing bespoke client needs.
Assist in the management of our marketing communications channel.
Be a great team player who supports their team effectively.
KNOWLEDGE
Microsoft office applications including SharePoint, Forms, OneDrive, Outlook etc.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
Core understanding of social media platforms
Knowledge in reporting and analysing analytics
SKILLS
You need solid copy writing skills that can flex to respond to our different clients tone of voice.
You will know what informs a good promotion and understand the importance of ROI.
Capable of writing clear reports and updates as needed.
Strong eye for detail with excellent proofing skills.
