Occasional travel to Manchester may also be required. CONTRACT: Permanent, Full timeAn incredible opportunity has arisen to join Rangers Football Club as Retail & Licensing Manager.This role will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of the club’s retail portfolio. The successful candidate will have direct influence and leadership across our three retail-focused business units which are:Our kit and retail partnership with Castore.Our third-party product licensing programme.Our Rangers Museum Gift Store, located within Edmiston House presented by Park’s Motor Group.THE ROLEThe responsibilities within each area include, but are not limited to:Kit and Retail Partnership with CastoreBe the primary partnership management contact for our Castore relationship.By working closely with Castore and internal stakeholders, drive global sales growth for the Rangers x Castore merchandise portfolio.Involvement with kit and product design and work closely with our kit teams (first team, women’s and academy) to support product intake and product design.Support the commercial success of Rangers x Castore products by supporting product launches and product promotional plans. Examples of this include supporting our kit photoshoots and launch campaigns. Responsibility for the club’s kit orders. For example, you will be the main internal point of contact for internal ordering and you will work closely with our kit teams and finance department to ensure invoicing is correct and aligned to club budgets and sign-off processes.Licensing ProgrammeLead the growth of our third-party licensing programme by ensuring we partner with best-in-class licensing partners.Product sign-off responsibility.Responsibility for the commercial performance of our Museum Gift Store. This will include responsibility for revenue, profitability, product development and stock-taking process. THE CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate attributes include:Partnership management experience, particularly within sport.Retail experience, particularly within the sports, leisure, or entertainment industry.Product licensing experience.Experience of kit development and kit intake processes would be advantageous.Experience working with commercially sensitive projects.Experience with product buying, product development and retail operations would be advantageous.The role involves working with several confidential projects and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they have the required discretion and professionalism to manage this.Eligibility to work in the UK and able to travel internationally. LATEST CLOSING DATE: Friday 26th April 2024Please note, we may close vacancies early where we receive significant numbers of applications, so don’t delay!EQUALITY & INCLUSION At Rangers Football Club we are ambitious about diversity and inclusion.
