Retail Liaison Manager

Our client is a highly successful retail space management business looking to hire a Retail Liaison Manager for their unique shopping centre in London. The role of the Retail Liaison Manager will provide leadership, commercial advice and help set the standard for our clients retail tenants which range from premium fashion through to cosmetics, food and gifting. This is a fantastic role for a retail manager who has led multiple concessions within department stores, shopping centres and travel space.
The key to success in this role is being a great relationship builder with significant influencing skills. In addition this role is typically Monday-Friday with a hybrid working model 2 days in the office 3 days at home. Hybrid working arrangements will need to be flexible during peak seasons.
Key accountabilities for the role:

• Take ownership of the retail category by delivery of the retail plan and income performance
• Track trends, develop and implement plans to protect and enhance sales across our clients tenants retail brands therefore increasing income for the landlord
• Develop a market leading proposition for the retail category with a focus on service, standards, marketing and event management
• Help the tenants develop successful trading strategies
• Work closely with the property teams on lease agreements, small works and operational changes that maybe required

Whats required to be considered for our clients Retail Liaison Manager role:

• Experience in leading multiple retail concessions within department stores, shopping centres and travel space. Ideally a focus on fashion or cosmetics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be required to provide detailed progress reports to the tenant and landlord
• Have an analytical mind being able to use data to support building trading plans
• Have experience in a stakeholder management role
• Be able to write business plans and proposals
