We are recruiting for a Retail HR Business Partner, to join the team at cardfactory. In this role you will partner with Senior Leaders within Retail to build and execute their strategically aligned people plans, whilst driving a culture of high performance and engagement.Key areas of focus: Partnering with two Heads of Retail and their Regional Management team in a strategic capacity, with an emphasis on:Talent ManagementEmbedding a culture of high performanceDevelopment of leadership capabilityAt cardfactory, we operate a smart working policy, allowing you to work some days from home and some days and at our Head Office in Wakefield in line with business needs.Role ResponsibilityOur HRBP team bring insight to the challenges and opportunities of our business, embedding themselves in their regional team in order to challenge thinking around culture, capacity and capability to deliver results now and in the future by:Driving performance management culture and conversationsSupporting leaders to address build colleague engagementConsulting on talent management and succession planningCollaborating with the People Team, sharing business insights and adding value as ‘one team’The role also has accountability for complex employee relations cases in the region, managing any restructures and consultations, settlement situations and Employment Tribunal cases on the region. In addition the role supports the ER team with managing any complex disciplinary or grievance cases, and ensuring compliance with legislation, policy and process across the region.There is also a focus on embedding our engagement survey – supporting leader to interpret their data and action plan, managing projects within your area of expertise, working cross functionally to deliver results.The Ideal CandidateMust have previous experience of business partneringEvidence of strong relationship building, coaching and collaboration skills (coaching qualification - level 5 desirable) Switched on commercially being curious to fully understand ways of working, process and issuesData driven approach to inform and drive decision-makingAbility to bring credible challenge and influenceAbility to work at pace through a high volume of work, balancing immediate requests and project workUp to date knowledge of employment lawAbout the CompanyCard Factory is the UK’s leading specialist retailer of greeting cards, dressings, and gifts with over one thousand stores across the UK and Ireland.
