Retail, E-commerce & Merchandising Manager
Head Office Based – London
We are currently partnering with a leading London based children’s charity to secure them a talented and forward-thinking
Retail, E-commerce & Merchandising Manager.
Reporting into the Deputy CEO you will be responsible for overseeing the operations, sales and profitability of the retail outlets, including responsibility for merchandising and on-line sales and profits.
Responsible for managing the Merchandising department to focus on in-store management to ensure smooth running of displays and merchandising. Ensuring merchandising work closely with Store and On-Line areas to maximise customer experience and profits.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Charity leader who will be vital in supporting the growth and development of the charities retail arm.
Responsibilities of the Retail, E-commerce & Merchandising Manager
In partnership with Finance, develop annual budgets to support the Sales objectives and in line with the strategy for retail.
Line manage all staff to ensure day to day operations of the Stores, Merchandising and e-Bay are functioning smoothly and in compliance with local regulations.
Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Ensure visually appealing and organised store displays and e-Bay merchandising align with brand standards.
Analyse e-Bay and retail sales data, market trends and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
The person- Retail, E-commerce & Merchandising Manager
You will have gained substantial experience within the charity retail sector particularly at a senior leadership level.
Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of retail operations and industry trends.
Understands value and pricing of online second-hand goods.
Proficient in using retail management software and point-of-sale systems.
Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of eBay and online platforms.
Excellent time-management, planning and organisation skills.
Batchelors Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or related field is desirable but not essential.
