Retail Area Manager

An exciting opportunity to join Longfield Community Hospices’ team, in this thriving multi-site charity retail business. We are seeking a creative and experienced Retail Area Manager who will support in the shaping of our retail strategy, improving operations and driving growth.Reporting into the Head of Retail you will work collaboratively to deliver the Retail strategy to increase profitability and financial contribution to the Hospice. Working closely with the other Retail Area Managers, the Retail Area Manager is responsible for the day-day operational management of the warehouse, logistics, e-Commerce team and a small number of retail shops and their staff within the retail portfolio.You will need to demonstrate an outstanding track record in achieving sales and profit targets within retail management, as well as significant retail management across multiple sites within a charity or the commercial sector.As the skill set and experience for this role is quite vast, we would welcome candidates who have significant experience in warehouse management or online selling (ideally within a charity environment) or retail multi-site management experience.Longfield is a community hospice charity, in a beautiful setting near Stroud.
