The team's role is to recover value for creditors of the business or individual. The role involves supporting experienced staff with case management and compliance with both legal and best practice requirements. After a suitable period there is the potential to work towards relevant professional qualifications, such as accounting or insolvency.Some of your responsibilities will include:Client contactOccasional client contact in conjunction with managers.Dealing with creditor and other enquiries relating to insolvency casesDealing with external agents and advisers on routine mattersTechnicalPerform work in line with legal and best practice requirementsMaintain physical and electronic records in formal insolvency casesUnderstand and appreciate key commercial aspects of the insolvent company’s business.OrganisationalAdminister a case portfolio, ensuring all statutory, regulatory and internal procedures are followed and deadlines are met.Provide regular progress reports to the manager including preparation of six monthly case reviews.Identify and discuss with manager issues/problems and agree and complete appropriate actions.Be able to work on several different assignments at one time.Setting up and maintenance of filesAssisting at meetings including preparation of minutesBasic office administration, including filing, copying, casting and reading over documents,Drafting/preparation of documents required for statutory processes (e.g. notices of general meeting, circulars to creditors, progress reports).Maintenance of case checklists, reporting and compliance diary, and electronic case records.Drafting all routine case correspondence.Analytical review of information to facilitate case strategy or to fulfil reporting requirements.Dealing with creditor telephone enquiriesCollecting in the selling assets with the assistance of agentsDevelopmentAttendance on courses.Technical reading.Familiarise and gain working knowledge of all regulatory and statutory requirements, including statements of Insolvency Practise and other best practise, Risk Management and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.Demonstrable experience of working within the Insolvency sector is preferablePreferred GCSEs in Maths & English Language at grade B or aboveA minimum of 240 UCAS points (equivalent of 3 A-Levels at grade C)As a colleague here at Evelyn Partners, you will have access to benefits that include:Private medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionGenerous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
