Job Title: Restaurant Manager - Glencoe



Job Overview:



Hospo Talent�are currently�seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in restaurant management.



Our Client operates in the the beautiful setting of Glencoe - this is an outstanding opportunity for the right Manager.



Responsibilities:





  1. Team Leadership:




    • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.

    • Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure high levels of performance and morale.

    • Set clear expectations for staff and lead by example through excellent customer service and professionalism.




  2. Customer Service:




    • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.

    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.

    • Monitor guest satisfaction and implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience.




  3. Operations Management:




    • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and inventory management.

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.

    • Monitor restaurant expenses and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.




  4. Sales and Marketing:




    • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase revenue.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities and events.

    • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and generate referrals.




  5. Financial Management:




    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

    • Monitor sales trends, analyze financial data, and identify areas for improvement.

    • Implement pricing strategies and menu adjustments to optimize profitability.





Requirements:




  1. Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.

  2. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  3. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience.

  4. Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, kitchen management, and health and safety standards.
