Restaurant General Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the team as Restaurant General Manager at Sun Street Hotel. We are looking for a Food & Beverage superstar who can lead our great F&B team in delivering excellence.

The Role
We are searching for a charismatic and results-oriented Restaurant General Manager to lead all aspects of our signature restaurant, bar, and events operations. You will be responsible for driving profitability, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring exceptional guest service across every interaction.
Responsibilities:
Leadership:Lead and motivate a team of restaurant, bar, and event staff, cultivating a positive, fun, and high-performing work environment.
Operations:Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant, bar, and event operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable service.
Financial Management:Develop and manage operating budgets, monitor and control costs, and ensure revenue maximization.
Guest Experience:Deliver unparalleled guest service that exceeds expectations and builds lasting customer loyalty.
Menu and Service Excellence:Collaborate with the Chef to ensure menus are innovative, appealing, and align with the restaurant's concept.
Event Management:Lead the coordination of diverse events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions, ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed.
Marketing and Sales:Work with the hotel's marketing team to promote the restaurant, bar, and events through various channels.
Data Analysis:Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and implement strategies to continuously improve performance.
Inventory Management:Ensure proper inventory control and cost-effective purchasing practices.
Compliance:Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a fine-dining or boutique hotel setting.
Proven track record of success in driving revenue and profitability.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including menu planning, food and beverage costing, service standards, and inventory management.
Understanding of event planning and execution.
Positive, fun, engaging personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hospitality software is a plus.
