CDJ Riverside Bar & kitchen are looking for a fantastic and energetic character to join our growing venture.
Having undergone a major refurbishment program, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, customer focused Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our team and deliver excellent customer service to our guests and visitors.
With Phase 2 of refurbishment started last year we are exited to move our existing restaurant in to new building. Apply for this position now.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and bar. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team effectively, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, including staff management, stock control, and customer service. Also work with our chef to create the best environment possible for our staff and guests.
-Recruit, train, and manage staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and provide excellent service to customers.
-Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability, including pricing, promotions, and cost control, cocktail training and beer training.
- Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, hygiene, and safety in compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Monitor and analyze sales and financial reports to identify opportunities for improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
-Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to develop menus, beverage offerings, and special promotions.
-Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and negotiate favorable terms.
-Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to remain competitive and innovative.
-Ensure compliance with all licensing and legal requirements related to the sale of alcohol and food service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant and Bar Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial management principles.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A sound knowlegde of cocktails and bar

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
