Are you a COMPASSIONATE and a DYNAMIC individual seeking to positively impact the lives of young people? Look no further! We have an exceptional opportunity for you to join a highly-rated children's residential service as a Residential Support Worker located in Maidenhead, Berkshire.


Salary: £27,832 - £30,838 (inclusive of sleep allowance)
Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire (SL6)
Hours: Full-Time, with a shift pattern of 10am - 10pm / SLEEP / 7:00 - 10:30am
Contract: Permanent


At our client's amazing residential service, dedicated to supporting young individuals aged 10 to 18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), you will play a vital role in empowering and mentoring our residents while ensuring they feel supported and valued. Your days will be filled with engaging activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures, making each day unique and rewarding.


Requirements as a Residential Support Worker:

  • Full UK manual driver's license
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Ability to commute to Maidenhead, Berkshire


Responsibilities for a Residential Support Worker:

  • Encourage and support residents in taking responsibility for their own lives, tailored to their age and abilities.
  • Foster a homely and friendly atmosphere within the residential setting.
  • Manage challenging behaviours with empathy and patience.
  • Safeguard the health and welfare of our residents at all times.
  • Provide practical and emotional support to promote independence and well-being.
  • Maintain a safe environment and stay updated on individual care plans and guidelines.
  • Forge positive relationships with colleagues, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in our resident's lives.
