Residential Property Partner – Succession/Senior Role – London Firm

We are confidentially retained by a firm in London to seek an experienced, high-calibre residential property partner for a rare succession role. Our client law firm is an established mid-sized practice in the City successfully covering a number of practice areas, including commercial and residential real estate. The firm and team have identified a need for the future succession of a new head of department into the residential property group.The team acts on high-value Prime London and South-East and other UK residential property deals for a client base, including UHNW and HNW individuals and family offices, investment companies and other corporates.Suitable applicants for this role will likely be a Partner (junior to senior level) at a rated City, West End or Tier 1 regional practice, and with an established and loyal client portfolio and proven business development skills. You will have solid experience in Prime London residential work. Some experience in team management and strategy will be an advantage. There will not be an immediate transition to head of department, so this role may not suit someone looking to join immediately to lead a team. Likewise, this position may be ideal for a proven HOD or ambitious lawyer seeking their first HOD role, and seeking to develop their practice within a new firm in this interim period.
