Job DescriptionJob Title: Residential ManagerLocation: Deanfield Care Home, HawickHours: 35 hours per weekContract: PermanentQualifications: SVQ Level 4 in Social Care or equivalent. Registered Managers Award, SVQ Level 4 in Management or equivalent.Adult Social Care focuses on these five principles to provide excellent care through a well-structured, meaningful and person-centred approach.We are looking for people who share our core values and are able to apply these to the work that they do.The Role:Be actively responsible for the operational management of care teams, ensuring effective human resources planning -including recruitment, staff retention, staff development and absence management.Provide leadership, supervision, and promote good practice within the service.Liaise with other professionals out with the council to ensure quality care for their residents.Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and organisation.Ensure that the requirements in relation to safeguarding and adult protection for clients and staff are met.
