Residential Conveyancer

My client is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Residential Conveyancer to join their Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire offices. 

The Role

My client are looking for a qualified Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join our expanding conveyancing department. The role will involve handling a busy and mixed caseload of work including:

• Sales and purchases;

• Investment properties;

• Freehold, leasehold, registered and unregistered property;

• Leasehold flats;

• Newbuilds

• Transfers of Equity;

• Lease extensions.

The Candidate

Applications are sought from Residential Conveyancing Solicitors or FILEX/CLC who have a minimum of 1 year’s PQE within a Conveyancing role. You will have excellent communication skills, be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise your workload

It is essential that you have experience:

• Handling a diverse caseload of conveyancing files and ability to manage your own caseload is essential;

• Using a Property Specific case management system;

• Dealing with LMS: Lender Exchange; The land registry website etc;

• Post completion procedures;

• Working effectively as part of a team and being able to communicate professionally at all levels;

• Managing customer’s expectations, with excellent customer service skills;

• The Conveyancing Quality Scheme and the Conveyancing Protocol.
