We are currently recruiting for a prestigious, nationally recognized training provider dedicated to helping individuals achieve the qualifications they need to fulfill their goals and ambitions

. They are seeking qualified and experienced Residential Childcare Apprenticeship Trainers to join their team of professionals and continue delivering top-notch programs.

The Role:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a residential childcare setting with children aged 5 to 18, along with a teaching or assessing qualification. This is a full-time, permanent role operating on a hybrid model with a caseload of up to 50 learners based in Oxfordshire, requiring travel for observations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct engaging learning sessions for Residential Childcare learners, both one-on-one and in group settings.

Confidently manage a caseload of up to 50 learners, ensuring they acquire essential skills and knowledge, complete off-the-job training, assignments, and more.

Perform workplace observations to assess learner progress.

Regularly monitor learner progress and ensure consistent attendance at all sessions.

Provide accurate assessments and reviews based on established standards, supporting learners in achieving Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English.

Unlock learners’ full potential by supporting their development, adhering to guidelines, and motivating them to overcome obstacles.

Foster strong relationships with clients and other teams to ensure excellent delivery outcomes.

Experience and Skills:

An assessing qualification such as A1, CAVA, TAQA, or equivalent, OR a teaching qualification such as PTLLS, CTLLS, AET, or equivalent.

Experience working in Residential Childcare with children and young people aged 5 to 18.

GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or Level 2 Functional Skills.

Excellent communication skills and proficiency with LMS or CRM systems.
