Job descriptionExperience neededPart Qualified Location: London Salary: £40,000 - £70,000 per annum + Full study supportWe havepartnered with a leading Lloyd's syndicate to find them a Reserving Analyst tojoin their rapidly expanding team. The successful candidate will work closelywith the relevant Underwriting teams and support other Group functions in termsof actuarial reserving, including the design and maintenance of centralreserving tools, the processing of reserving data, the validation andinterpretation of results, and the production of reports, business planning,and other actuarial related activity as required. This role includes but is notlimited to:To assist withand undertake production of the quarterly reserving study using appropriatetechniques/analysis to include calculation of the best estimate reserves andcurrency allocations.To assist indesign and evolution of the future state of reserving through development ofprocesses and mechanisms necessary to improve efficiency and accuracy of alloutputs and communicationsTo assist inundertaking an appropriate level of analysis to support business decisions andprovide additional insight to the business, focusing on the key areas tounderstand the drivers and uncertainties behind claims emergenceTo assist withthe review US Trust Funds reserves.To assist withinput into Solvency II and IFRS17 Technical Provisions related work as requiredTo support theproduction of any required regulatory returnsTo support theReserving Manager in provision of all materials for internal/external keystakeholders including Reserve and Audit Committees and producing formalActuarial reports including Statement of Actuarial Opinions and ActuarialFunction ReportingTo find out more click apply.
