About the role
This is a highly customer focused role, dealing with a number of regular guests and business associates over the phone and via email. As a Reservations Agent it would be your responsibility to coordinate and control all accommodation bookings at the hotel. A high level of written and verbal communication skills will be required. You will need to be analytical, confident in dealing with people over the telephone and able to meet the needs of both the guest and the hotel. You will have experience of working in a reservations role ideally in 5 star properties and have a working knowledge of the property management system Opera.
We welcome candidates with the drive and commitment to :
Effectively deal with all telephone and email inquiries.
To take and input bookings via different channels, entering the correct details into the property management system Opera and SynXis.
To assist the controlling of business mix and room rates.
Maintain a proficient relationship with agencies and corporate companies.
Assisting the Spa Team with Spa reservations.
Ensure all guest requirements have been satisfied throughout the booking process.
To be fully knowledgeable of the facilities available within the hotel and related costs.
Effectively communicate with all departments all details of upcoming arrivals, including but not limited to special request bookings and last minute changes.
