Reservationist
The Groucho Club is looking for an experienced Reservationist to oversee our reservations department. The Reservationist needs to have proactive energy, a positive can-do attitude and friendly personality alongside all the other skills that make you a top employee. Why is this so important? Responsibilities
To answer and respond to all calls and emails in a timely fashion.
To be responsible for taking and organising all reservations for the Groucho Restaurants (Dining Room and Bernies).
To be responsible for taking and organising all bedroom bookings.
To create and complete the Daily Sheets, and maintain and update throughout the day including all lunch and dinner confirmations.
To be fully aware of all upcoming Club Events and be able to book members in upon request.
To maintain, complete and send the Daily Covers Report.
To create and send a Weekly Bedrooms Forecast to the senior management team.
To utilise Open Table to generate reports to inform future booking systems.
Skills
Reservations or booking experience is essential.
Have at least 2-3 years experience working within either a hospitality or retail environment.
Experience working with Opera desirable.
Experience working in a private members club is desirable.
Must have an outgoing, confident and bubbly personality.
Be smart and well presented at all times.
Must have a good understanding on delivering exceptional customer service.
Must have the ability to maintain professional self-control when dealing with uncommon and challenging circumstances.
You must have exceptional communication skills.
You should be focussed on delivering excellent customer service to our employees and our members.
You must have the ability to interact successfully at several social levels and across diverse values.
Proficiency to carry out multiple assignments concurrently is desired.
Capability to adapt to changes in the environment is desired.
