Research Scientist (Biomarker)

One of our large biotech clients are currently seeking a Biomarker Scientist to join their team on a 1.0 FTE basis on an initial 12 month contract.
Client
The client has had considerable year on year growth and we have worked extensively with the client placing over 45 people into their teams and receiving positive feedback from this.
Role
They are seeking a Biomarker Scientist to join their team on an initial 12 month contract to work in their Early Clinical Development team. In this role you would have planning and technical oversight of Biomarker Transcriptomic activities. You will be involved in projects from target identification through to clinical studies of diverse pharmacological candidates, including novel chemical, biological and gene therapy-derived assets. You will work in a cross-functional setting across multidisciplinary projects and teams and make meaningful contributions to the biomarker and bioanalytical strategies across their portfolio.
Responsibilities
-BSc or higher in a biological subject
-Experience over the complete workflow for RNA sequencing
-Experience with a range of molecular biology techniques including RNA extraction
