Are you an experienced Scientist looking for a role in R&D?
A successful manufacturer of Medical Devices are seeking an R&D Scientist to join the team at their site in Tonbridge. This is an ideal role for an established Scientist looking for a rewarding and interesting opportunity. Prior experience working in Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals is essential.
Role Overview
Full Time, Permanent, Monday-Friday 08:00-16:30
Develop new products, and optimise/improve existing products.
Product testing and assessment in comparison with competitor products.
Organic Synthesis of novel materials as part of NPD.
Writing and updating of reports, design files and other technical documentation.
Requirements
Prior working experience in Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals is essential.
Degree level (or equivalent) qualification in Chemistry, Material Science or similar relevant discipline.
Experience in R&D is highly advantageous, but any experience from a relevant role will be considered.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards – MDD/MDR, ISO13485 , cGMP.
Access to own transportation is essential. due to remote location of the site.
