Job DescriptionSRG are working with a leading biotechnology company to help them find a new R+D Scientist to join their team based in Edinburgh.This is a great opportunity to join a team doing working on exciting research and development work!There is a great benefits package on offer including bonus and healthcare.The Role:Help plan development studies and organise and undertake work related to assigned Research & Development projects.Analyse and interpret data produced in studiesWrite progress reports and provide conclusions and next steps from findingsAssist with validating new equipmentReview and draft SOPs and protocolsHelp ensure GxP compliance in the departmentKeep up to date with relevant scientific discoveries and publicationsRequirements:Relevant scientific qualification and/or equivalent experienceAssay development experience is essentialExperience of working to GxP guidelines in an industrial environmentExperience running immunoassays/ELISA based techniquesDiagnostics experience would be beneficialExperience of working in medical devices and/or experience using automated analysers would be beneficialAbility to analyse dataGood troubleshooting and problem solving skills
