To work effectively in the Repairs Department based in the Technical Department of our site. To ensure that the repair & return of products are processed and achieved in line with the company policies, procedures, and quality system.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure all returns and repairs are booked into the department in a timely manner and are stored correctly.
• Fault find and diagnose faults on suspected faulty electronic products (to component level).
• Ensure that products that are returned to us, are tested, repaired, and assembled as per the company quality system.
• To liaise with Customers where necessary regarding returned product
• To carry out any other duties, if applicable, as and when required by the company
• To be responsible for the health and safety of themselves and others involved in and around the working area.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience:

• Need good communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Must be able to follow a circuit diagrams and fault find (to component level)
• Knowledge and understanding of products, quality assurance policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Knowledge and understanding of health and safety policies, procedures
• Excellent level of soldering skill
• Experience of electronic testing
• Basic computer skills.
