Repairs Supervisor

Build Recruitment are currently looking for Repairs Supervisors to work for a Leading Social Housing Contractor in the East and West Sussex area - This will include Hastings to Worthing to Haywards Heath and inbetween.

The Supervisor will also be specialising in Disrepairs so experience as a Supervisor, Repairs Supervisor, Disrepair Supervisor, Voids Supervisor or Responsive Supervisor is needed.

Relevant experience in Social Housing, Councils, Housing associations, Local Authorities or Properties is required,

The Supervisor Responsibilities:

• To motivate, coach and retain tradespeople
• Drive the contract, Report well and have excellent soft skills
• Devise a method for accurately assessing and categorising the competency profile of all team members
• Health & Safety Performance of contractors
• Selection and recruitment of Tradespeople Performance management of Tradespeople
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent leadership skills

Supervisor Experience requirements 

• Good understanding of building maintenance and Disrepairs
• Experience of supervising teams
• Experience of mobile device use
• Strong Communication skills
• IT reporting to basic standard Emails and occasional Excel Spreadsheet
