Repairs and Voids Manager

Job Description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association in South Wales, who are recruiting for a Repairs and Voids Manager on both a temporary and permanent basis.
The annual salary for the permanent post is £47,000, with day rates flexible dependent on experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing an in-house trades team, delivering an exceptional repairs service and dealing with budgets/contractor invoices.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Overseeing and managing voids and repairs works within domestic Social Housing properties
Liaising with trades staff and contractors completing works and authorising contractor payments
Directly line managing 4 Supervisors and 50 Trades staff
Liaising with tenants and senior management to give updates on ongoing works
Inspecting completed works to ensure they meet pre-agreed specifications and providing recommendations for remedial works
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Ability to deliver an exceptional repairs service and lead a team of contractors/trades staff
Experience working with budgets
Full UK driving licence
Working hours:
37 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (flexible start/finish times)
