Location: Bristol



Salary:��43500 per annum

Our client is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team as a Housing Repairs and Void Surveyor. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer-focused repairs services, with a special focus on managing empty homes.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Supervise and ensure the timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality delivery of repair works, adhering strictly to statutory obligations and quality standards

  • Maintain compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines, including CDM, Health & Safety at Work Act, and Building Regulations, throughout the construction process

  • Deliver top-notch customer service to residents, leaseholders, and other stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally

  • Conduct thorough pre and post-works inspections to guarantee that all work meets the required standards and fulfils customer expectations

  • Provide technical support and guidance to Customer Services and Housing teams regarding property construction, handover processes, and defect management.

  • Utilise Microsoft applications, IT tools, and databases effectively to facilitate work processes.



Desired Qualities:




  • Strong educational background (GCSE standard or equivalent) paired with substantial experience in property inspection

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a knack for consistently assessing and maintaining high standards

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both internal and external

  • Positive and proactive mind-set, dedicated to problem-solving and continuous improvement

  • Possession of a valid UK Driving License and ability to travel independently for site visits and property inspections
