Role: Renewable Energy Business Development Manager
Location: Scotland area
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role will operate cross functionally within ERIKS and externally within the Renewables market place. It will engage frequently with operators, OEMs and service providers within the targeted segments at an operational and strategic level. At times, it will engage with our strategic supply chain partners leveraging the full value of the ERIKS value chain in the development of the targeted markets. Through strong knowledge of the segment and business acumen, it will provide a detailed understanding of the service model associated with the segment(s). It will define a clear path and quickly lead ERIKS in entering our chosen Renewables market, initially focusing on Wind. Leading and coordinating the initiative, it will deliver aggressive and profitable financial growth in Engineering and Reliability Services and MRO distribution service channels. Working across Scotland, travel is a fundamental part of the role.
Essentials
This strategic role represents an exciting leadership opportunity within the ERIKS organisation expanding ERIKS footprint into new growth markets. The role will have a high degree of autonomy in the development and deployment of a strategy but will work closely with other functions. Career prospects include management progression within the commercial or operations team and into the Senior Leadership Team roles. Direct experience of operating within the Wind segment. Experience of other renewables segments desirable. Demonstrable experience in delivering results in new market entry or new business development. Track record of effectively leading and collaborating with cross functional teams. Ability to accurately interpret data and market feedback, and translate into credible market development plans. Ideally degree qualified, or suitable industry tenure (>5 years) in a relevant role.
