Venatu are currently recruiting a Remuneration and Benefits Manager for a 12 month Fixed-Term contract on behalf of a national Waste Managment Company. 

Location: This role is Hybrid and can be based across Yorkshire/ Midlands

Role Overview: We are seeking a talented Remuneration and Benefits Manager to join our clients team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that their compensation and benefits packages are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the organizational objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic and growing company in the waste management sector.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive remuneration and benefits strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis of compensation and benefits practices to ensure competitiveness in the market.
  • Manage the administration of employee benefits programs, including salaries, benefits, leave policies and wellness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits-related transactions.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on compensation and benefits-related matters.
  • Stay informed about relevant legislation and regulations governing compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field would be preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience in remuneration and benefits management, preferably within the waste management, environmental services, or related industry preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, practices, and market trends.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CIPD or other relevant professional certification is desirable.
