Location: Hayes

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (Days)
Salary: �51,000

Synergi are recruiting for a Reliability Engineer to join a leading FMCG/Food company based in Hayes. This is the chance to join a company who have invested into their site to bring in the latest technology and automation.

Based at their site in Hayes, the role will support the performance and efficiency of a site that operate on a 24/7 basis. The shift pattern for this position will be Day. Benefits include enhanced holiday entitlement and on-site free parking.

Key responsibilities will include:


  • Dayshift Monday to Friday but with the flexibility to cover business needs.
    * Focusing on increasing current line OEE levels and implementing Line Improvements based on removal of repeat breakdowns and better line availability to Operations.
    * To have deep dives into reoccurring issues, removing current roadblocks in increasing machine availability,
    * PPMs, Preventative, Predictive and Corrective maintenance
  • Support any installations of new machinery and trials.
    * Reducing line changeover times and assistance in training for autonomous maintenance.
    * Assist the production engineers in Breakdowns if their workload exceeds their capacity due to workload or availability due to Holidays or sickness.
  • Supporting Project Engineers on installation, final execution, ramp up and hand over to production.
    * Any additional duties relevant to the position deemed by Management.

What We're Looking For In You
* A conscientious and hard-working individual that can work with the Engineering Maintenance team
* Work in a team environment or on their own building good communications with Operations and the Maintenance Planner to assist the wider Engineering team
* Proactively work on increasing line availability through reduced change over times, removal of repeat breakdowns, implementing improvements in PPMs, Preventative and corrective maintenance.
* Writing one-page instructions online to recover from breakdowns and lessons learned, increasing line OEE and helping in sourcing parts from suppliers. What's in it for you?
