If you think you have the talent to join a world class team, we’d love you to join us!We are looking for an experienced Release Manager, whilst you won’t be managing a team but you’ll be directly responsible for building Release management functions, across large interconnected complex projects. You’ll work closely with leads, producers and project managers, across all departments, to understand project needs, to scale our efforts appropriately. You will own the guidelines and policies for release management in all aspects and work independently to set best practices.The ideal candidate will have experience both building as well as running QA and release management in the global, free-to-play games industry.Reports toThis position is based in Guildford, UK and reports to the QA Director.What will you do?Be responsible for overall release planning and implement release management function for a cross-platform free-to-play service game, across all locationsEstablish and maintain best release pipeline practicesRegularly review release progress against plansRegularly review release content and scope to identify and communicate any increase in risk, impact or issues relating to the role-associated area of responsibilityEnsure release readiness for pre-production and production check pointsDrive release management improvements with close collaboration with other teamsBe the point of contact for the areas of responsibilityOwn the risk management in the areas of responsibilityCollaborate with other departments to improve overall game quality and development methodsReflect on the outcomes of a release and identify, deliver, and communicate resulting process improvementsBe responsible for communicating and championing the release process to all levels of the businessWhat are we looking for?Strong professional QA experienceRelease management experience of course!Experience working in an agile environmentDelivery and stakeholder management experienceHave a passion for delivering high quality productsExperience working with people from a variety of cultures and backgroundsGreat communication and organisational skillsWe’d love you to be a game enthusiastWhat additional skills will help you stand out?Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, ExcelExperience running cross-platform game development projectsExperience operating global, constantly evolving games as a serviceExperience working with highly distributed development and support teamsExperience building distributed QA, release management and localisation teamsA superb motivator and implementor of quality standardsBenefitsBenefits and perks are tailored to the local market and culture.
