Job Description
We are a leading dynamic Asset Finance business, with outstanding technology and service offerings, supporting equipment suppliers across the UK with bespoke finance programmes. With regionally based direct customer asset finance offering, the business plans to expand aggressively, currently supporting approximately 40,000 SMEs, growing at 10,000 per annum. We are a multi-award-winning business, growing revenues at 20% pa, with plans to double origination and balance sheet over the next 3 years.
As a Relationship Director you will play a crucial role in achieving the ambitious origination targets. You will have warm leads and have the opportunity to focus on your own business development, giving you the best of both worlds. As a Relationship Director, you will work closely with business owners to get under the skin of their operation, conduct a full financial analysis and build a robust proposal which supports their business growth in the best possible way.
Working with businesses across a range of sectors, offering both hard and soft assets, you will ensure each customer is fully supported and educated on their options, ensuring a high level of customer orientated service.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Acting as a subject matter expert on all things Asset Finance, acting as a lead contact for SME customers
Supporting customers to structure complex deals which solve their problems and boost their business, with a focus on long-lasting relationships
Negotiate contracts to maximise profit
Deal origination
Achievement of SLA’s and KPI’s
Maintain CRM systems accurately
Work closely with the wider partnership team to ensure overall success
Forecasting and reporting
Skills & Experience:
A solid background in Asset Finance with the ability to write complex deals
Hold proven credit skills and a good track record of presenting robust business cases to support applications
An established B2B sales professional with proven ability to close deals and achieve targets – you will have direct experience of working with business customers
Demonstrate a strong understanding of assessing operational risks, changing economic/market conditions and regulatory requirements
A successful relationship builder
