Job Title: Reinstatement Manager - Full-time

Location: Maidenhead

Company: Our client, a prominent infrastructure services provider, is currently seeking a dedicated Reinstatement Manager to join their team. This role will report to the CM Reinstatement Manager and will play a crucial role in supporting operational teams across various Telecoms contracts.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Support business at stakeholder meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage supply chain compliance, ensuring consistency across multiple Telecoms contracts.
  • Oversee the technical reinstatement process for operational contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and manage defects raised by local authorities, clients, or internal teams.
  • Provide coaching and training to operational teams to ensure specification compliance and continuous improvement in performance.
  • Manage internal coring programs, including reviewing coring reports and implementing necessary actions.
  • Review and collate audit performance reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary measures.
  • Foster and maintain effective relationships with Street Authority Inspectors and material suppliers.
  • Explore and implement innovative techniques, materials, and equipment to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
  • Promote and develop recycling and environmentally friendly practices within reinstatement operations.
  • Ensure consistent application of best practices across multiple contracts.
  • Conduct robust auditing of work in the highway through regular inspections.
  • Manage the hire and off-hire of plant equipment, resolving breakdowns or issues promptly to minimize productivity impact.
  • Provide technical support to back-office staff and assist in handling customer complaints in line with contractual requirements.
  • Plan or assist in planning daily reinstatement duties for operational teams.
  • Be available for on-call duties as required.

Key Skills and Qualifications:


  • Extensive knowledge of the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991, Traffic Management Act 2004, and Health & Safety at Work Act.
  • Working knowledge of the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways and reinstatement best practices.
  • Familiarity with compaction equipment and materials testing.
  • Experience in delivering coring programs and managing relationships with council and Street Works Authority staff.
  • Knowledge of recycling practices involving excavated and imported materials, with experience in implementing and monitoring recycled materials.
  • Preferably holds 2 Day SSSTS, NRSWA Supervisor certifications.
  • Previous experience in managing both direct and subcontracted personnel.
  • Demonstrates an organized and methodical approach to work.
