Regulatory Financial Modeller

London, Ruddington or ManchesterCompetitive Salary plus benefits The Regulatory Financial Modeller will report to the Senior Regulatory Finance Manager and will provide general financial modelling support including management and development of key models owned by the Regulatory Finance and Pricing team What will you be doing?Lead in the management and improvement of key charges models including modelling of costs and charges relating to Communication Hubs. You will need to be comfortable updating models to reflect any new financing arrangements, updated businesses case assumptions, and updated Licence commitments and regulatory guidance.Lead in the management and improvement of regulatory deliverables including the Price Control Working Files and the Regulatory Instructions and Guidance (RIGs). You will need to work with colleagues across the Finance function to ensure models are updated in line with Finance Transformation activity and present accurate data to our regulator.Support in the development of charging frameworks for new programmes/services e.g. network evolution portfolio, elective services and new products such as ‘DCC Boxed’.Model DCC’s financial contribution to our parent company and provide analysis relating to baseline margin, external contract gainshare, and other regulatory incentives.Other ad hoc modelling and analysis, as required.What are we looking for? Advanced Excel modelling skills, with experience of building and working with financial models
