Joining us on a full-time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of around £45,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.About the roleThis is a great opportunity to support the company to achieve best practice and be industry leaders through the development and delivery of a highly effective regulatory analysis and research programme that supports business improvement, delivery of performance commitments, business planning activities, and which informs regulatory responses and the work of the independent WaterShare+ Panel.As Regulatory Analysis and Research Manager, you will work as part of an expert team and will have responsibility for management of the regulatory customer research programme, and the wider analysis and evidence preparation relating to regulatory submissions.You will have opportunity to engage proactively and collaboratively with colleagues and teams across the business, and externally, to protect and enhance the company’s and customers’ long-term interests and maximise the value of our regulatory analysis and research programme.At this current time in the regulatory cycle, your role will also be focussed on wider research and analysis of company business plans to inform the business planning process ahead of Ofwat’s final determination.What you’ll be doing:Manage the Company’s business planning analysis research programme, and ad hoc research to inform business planning and regulatory responses Ensure that research findings are shared with all interested parties, and develop and maintain a synthesis document to inform strategic objectives, business planning and future research requirementsWork with the business to develop research briefs to provide meaningful engagement with customers and stakeholders and robust outputs to support business needsSupport the work of the independent WaterShare+ Panel through provision of high quality analysis and presentation materials, providing insight and analysis on a range of topics to support the panel’s objectives on PR24 and beyond. Oversee packages of analysis work relating to business plans, summarising and reporting outputs in a highly engaging way, capturing the ‘so what’ and next stepsWhat we are looking for:Experience of quantitative and qualitative customer research methods and project work and working to timescales/deadlinesExperience of working in a regulated environment would be an advantageAble to work accurately, prioritise work and manage time effectivelyAble to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing Able to produce good quality presentations, distilling technical information at a level suitable for a range of target audiencesWell developed analytical and problem solving skills and project management skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the business and build key working relationshipsAn excellent attention to detail with the ability to consistently deliver accurate and timely informationEducated to degree level standard or able to demonstrate working to degree levelWhat's in it for you:We know that the support and commitment of our staff is key to our success so you will receive the opportunity for ongoing development and training for a long-term career with us.
