The value you’ll add:
As an integral member of our Compliance team, you’ll be a collaborative partner and value-added business contributor. Reporting directly into the Head of Compliance you’ll support HSBC Innovation Banking business manage regulatory change and engage positively with regulatory bodies.
What you can expect to be doing:
Engaging in regulatory horizon scanning to record, track and escalate relevant new regulatory publications.
Assisting with the analysis of regulatory changes and liaising with other second line of defence Risk colleagues to assist the business in implementing any changes required by the deadlines imposed.
Supporting the submission of regulatory returns and management of the reporting schedule for the UK business.
Assisting other members of the team and organisation with the schedule of any regulatory engagement activities.
Supporting other ad-hoc projects as the need arises.
Requirements:
Existingexperience working in Compliance in banking/financial services, ideally within commercial banking.
Able to interpret regulatory publications and communications.
Working knowledge of the UK regulatory landscape and supervisory approach, including PRA and FCA.
The ability to work independently and challenge effectively.
Strong stakeholder engagement/ management across multiple business areas as well as senior stakeholder up to and including ExCo and Board level
A positive growth mindset.
